Ahora que han pasado los días, que he pensado y he procesado emociones me animo a contarte cómo se dio la Media de la Mujer , pero antes de contártelo te adelanto que estos días he sido, quizás, muy dura conmigo misma.
Voy a empezar por el principio. El sábado nos fuimos a Madrid novato en triatlon y yo con calma, con intención de pasar un día tranquilo, sin prisas, sin agobios. ¡Perfecto! Y así se dio hasta la última hora de la tarde. Ahí se comenzó a torcer todo.
En ese momento hubo un punto de inflexión, ya que me llegaron noticias de casa y me quedé con mal cuerpo. Con ese mal cuerpo nos fuimos a cenar a un sitio que me encanto: Artemisa, un vegetariano donde toda la comida es sin gluten. Perfecto para mí y quizás no tanto para él 🙂 pero creo que los dos salimos encantados con la comida. ¡Estaba todo buenísimo!
Tras la cena, vuelta al hotel dando un paseo y a la cama pero para no dormir. A pesar de que esa noche había cambio de hora y dormíamos una hora más no descansé nada. La cabeza no estaba en su sitio y los nervios no remitían.
A las 6AM estaba levantada, sentada en el sofá y sin saber qué hacer. A las 7 desayuné (té en leche y plátano con requesón y canela) y me vestí. Y nada, seguí sentada en el sofá esperando.
A las 8:10 salimos en dirección a la línea de salida de la Media de la Mujer y allí me encontré con mi querida Let (menudo subidón me produces cada vez que te veo), con Raquel (a quien solo conocía por RRSS), con Ana (qué bonita eres) y mi Blanca, con la que hablé largo y tendido antes de tomar salida. ¡Gracias Blanca! Me vino genial ese rato junto a ti.

La carrera
Los primeros kilómetros se dieron de lujo. De hecho el primer 5k iba según lo previsto, así que guay. El segundo cincomil se torció. En el 7 me dio un pinchazo en el gemelo y mal, lo vi mal, pero seguí. Y llegué al 10 a duras penas. Justo en el túnel de Castellana escuché a Let, gracias por llamarme, menudo subidón me pegaste porque yo no te había visto.

De ahí a recuperar lo que pudiera hacia abajo. Hubo kilómetros en los que fui medianamente bien, pero otros… En el 17 y en el 18 no podía más y tuve que hacer, muy a mi pesar, tramos caminando. ¡Qué mal! Cómo me dolía y en el 19 tuve que parar a estirar. Gracias al voluntario que estuvo conmigo estirando el gemelo.
A partir de ahí hasta meta dando todo lo que me quedaba. Unos metros antes de entrar en meta vi a Marian que nos gritó y me puso la piel de gallina y en el arco de meta ahí estaba Blanca, esperándome para darme un abrazo que me cargó de energía (gracias preciosa, se me saltan las lágrimas al recordar ese momento).

Tras terminar la carrera lágrimas, lágrimas y más lágrimas, madre mía lo que lloré ( y sigo llorando), análisis y reset. No queda otra. Y entre el análisis y el reset recibiendo a través de Instagram palabras de ánimo, mensajes bonitos. Gracias mil, me habéis enseñado mucho. Mira alguno de ellos. (Tengo la carne de gallina).

Durante toda la carrera con la cabeza en Valladolid. Bufff, qué duro, de verdad. ¿Por qué me costará tanto dejar la mente en blanco?
Y ya en Valladolid visité al fisio y tocó tirar de punción seca porque no había por donde coger el gemelo. A ver si me termino de recuperar. Ah! y leyendo La mente del Runner que me recomendó SanFerPag. Ya te contaré qué tal está.

Today, I went to the beach with my kids. I found a sea shell and gave it to my 4 year old daughter and said «You can hear the ocean if you put this to your ear.» She put the shell to her ear and screamed.
